A EMPTY está apoiando o Projeto Barco Solar, feito pelos estudantes da Universidade Federal De Santa Catarina, Brasil. Este projeto tem a finalidade de desenvolver de um barco movido à energia solar para participar do Desafio Solar Brasil, evento que acontecerá entre os dias 16 e 24 de outubro em Parati, Rio de Janeiro. Este evento visa estimular o desenvolvimento de tecnologias para fontes limpas de energias alternativas, bem como divulgar o potencial dessas tecnologias aplicadas em embarcações de serviço, recreio e transporte de passageiros. ![]()
O Desafio Solar Brasil inspira-se na Frisian Solar Challenge, competição realizada a cada dois anos na Holanda que se constitui no principal evento europeu para embarcações solares.

The EMPTY Co. is supporting the Solar Boat Project, done by students of the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil. This project aims to develop a boat powered by solar energy to participate in Brazil Solar Challenge, an event that will take place between 16 and 24 October in Parati, Rio de Janeiro. The Solar Challenge Brazil is based on the Frisian Solar Challenge, competition held every two years in the Netherlands that is the main European event for solar boats.
